Mikään ei näin keväällä piristä masenna yhtä paljon kuin kaappien siivoaminen.

There is nothing more inspiring depressing at spring time than cleaning the cupboards.

Miinuspuolelle kirjataan:

1. Ai että harmittaa aloittaa. OMG, it is annoying to start.
2. Kevätauringon paistaminen romukasaan. The spring sunshine at the scrap pile.

Pääsiäispupun arvoitus / Easter bunny's conundrum

Tänä vuonna pikku virpojilla oli toinenkin jännitys: aarteenetsintä.

This year, there was another little excitement for the small easter guests: a treasure hunt.

Pääsiäispupu oli jättänyt avattavan munan sisälle aarteen.

Easter bunny had left a treasure inside an egg that could be opened.

Mutta pupu oli lähtiessään kätkenyt munan. Hän oli jättänyt vain yhden vihjeen: kun näet pelimannin soittavan, olet lähellä aarretta.

But the bunny had hidden the egg before he left. He had given only one clue: when you see the musician playing, you are close to the treasure.

Aikuisetkin olisivat halunneet osallistua. Mutta valittivat liian vaikeasta vihjeestä. Onneksi lapset ovat ennakkoluulottomia. Heille mikään ei ole liian vaikeaa.

Adults would have liked to participate, too. But complained for a too difficult clue. Fortunately, children are open-minded. For them, nothing is too difficult.

Was the treasure found despite a difficult clue?

Lasten piti toimia tiiminä ja auttaa toisiaan. Mitä tapahtui? Vajaat viisi minuuttia, ja arvoitus oli ratkaistu.

The children had to work as a team and help each other. What happened? With less than five minutes, and the mystery was solved.

Siinähän se pelimanni soittaa, senkin ovessa. Ja muna oli oven takana. There the musician plays, on the cabinet door. And the egg was behind the door.
